We transcribe WebEx conferences! If you record your WebEx conference using the WebEx recorder, send us the WRF (WebEx Recording Format) or ARF (Advanced Recording Format) file and we can transcribe your conference. Send us the file via email or our FTP server. We accept PayPal for payment! You asked for it and we responded. In addition to Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, you can now pay your invoice using PayPal as well. Just another helpful service from Shadow Systems! Time-coded transcripts from video window burns are back! We had stopped providing this service in the past because of its labor-intensive nature. It required someone to print the finished transcript, watch the video and write down the time code in the appropriate spots in the printout. Someone then had to go back and type in the time codes into the document. Laborious for us, expensive for our customers. Well, no more! We now have a way to automatically include the time code that's displayed on the video as we transcribe the program. It's no additional work for us and no additional charge for you! Please "burn" the time code in a separate window rather than simply overlaying it on the video where it can be obscured by the program content. New and improved FTP server now available! We have space reserved on our web server for you to transfer your sound files directly to us. We can still FTP from your server if that's more convenient for you, but if you have no place to put your files, we do! Also, the FTP site has instructions as well as a link to the server. Check it out here. We can transcribe directly from video! We can transcribe your video production directly from the video (time coded or not). This provides you with better service because our transcriptionists can better identify who is speaking, rather than indicating "Male Speaker" or "Female Speaker." It also allows us to include some descriptions of actions, e.g., "[John holds up a sample of the product.]". If you have MPEG video, you can send the file(s) to us via our FTP server. DVD files can be uploaded as well, but will take a very long time. We transcribe from media files! Are your programs in one of the popular media file formats (WAV,
RealAudio, MP2, MP3, MPEG, DVD)? Let us transcribe them from CDs or DVDs. Or, FTP your files to our
server to save you the time/expense of overnight shipping. We transcribe webcasts! Do you do webcasts? We can transcribe them for you from audio media that you ship to us, or we can record the webcast live or from a web-based archive. If you want us to record the webcast live (or from a replay), simply provide us with the web address and required login information. This will save you the time and expense of shipping media to us. Or, just send us your webcast or provide a downloadable link and we'll turn it into hardcopy. You can send us the webcast file on CD or DVD, provide us with an FTP site address where the file is located, or you can FTP the file(s) to our server. More timecoding capacity! Our free electronic time-coding has become so popular that we've increased our capacity for creating time-coded transcripts. We can produce more time-coded transcripts faster than ever. And it's still free! Check out the FAQ page for complete information! (Did we mention it's free?) We archive your transcripts! Occasionally a client will call and ask "Do you still have that transcript around for the [job name here] job you did for us a year or so ago?" Well, to be able to answer "yes" to that question, we archive all the transcripts we produce. They're copied to CD-ROM and stored safely away for that day when you hit yourself in the head and say, "I wish I could get my hands on that transcript!" We accept credit cards! Some of our clients have requested the ability to pay for our services with their corporate purchase cards. Responding to your business needs, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Of course, if you like, we can invoice as well. Electronic timecoding is here! Shadow Systems is able to electronically extract LTC SMPTE time code directly from the audio track of the tape you send us for transcription. This will result in savings to you and faster turnaround as well. Check out the FAQ page for complete information! Send mail to
